Bumblebee Private Line Use Cases

Bumblebee Private Line is a use case in which a Bumblebee CPE is deployed in a strict Layer 2 network, such as Metro Ethernet, L2 cellular backhaul, or private-line connectivity, where no IP address is involved.

In these pure Layer 2 Ethernet switching scenarios, the Bumblebee CPE must use its built-in 5G cellular modem for the management plane so that customers still have visibility into Ethernet carrier loss, link utilization, and Application Visibility.

The Private Line deployment is shown below where 5G cellular is used as the management interface.
