Which product code supports Cellular WAN?
The product code ends with letter C has integrated cellular functionality. (C stands for Cellular), currently they are BN-CPE-1000C and BN-CPE-1000FC. Customer sites with these types of Bumblebee CPEs installed is Cellular WAN enabled.
Does Cellular WAN need SIM card?
yes, there is a SIM slot/interface on the Bumblebee CPE and you need to insert a micro SIM card into the device. Work with service provider or carrier to activate a SIM card.

How does Cellular WAN work?
Once an activated SIM card is detected being inserted, Bumblebee CPE automatically detects it and complete the initialization process. When primary WAN is down, CPE automatically switches to use Cellular WAN interface to forward traffic.
Can Cellular WAN be used for OOB only?
Yes, you turn turn off data forwarding for Cellular WAN. When data forwarding is turned off, Cellular WAN is only used for OOB Remote PDU Management and OOB Remote Serial Console Access.
Does Cellular WAN work with Secondary WAN?
Yes. The CPE can be configured such that when primary WAN goes down, CPE switches to Secondary WAN for data forwarding, and when the Secondary WAN also fails, the CPE switches to Cellular WAN to forward traffic, as shown in the diagram below.
Why does my cellular not detecting carrier?
Here are the troubleshooting steps.
Make sure your micro SIM card is inserted with the correct orientation. The cut corner of the SIM needs to match the diagram on the device.
Make sure your SIM card has been activated with the corresponding IMEI number. The IMEI number can be found on the portal. Cellular WAN -> select the desired CPE, check for IMEI field.
Make sure you do a power cycle of the Bumblebee device after you insert an activated SIM card.
How to configure private APN (Access Point Name)
If your cellular service supports static IP, the APN is not dynamically obtained, rather it is manually configured on the portal. To configure this, follow the steps below.
Select Cellular WAN on the left navigation portal
Select the desired CPE in the drop down menu
Select the CPE
Click Actions -> Edit Data Forwarding
Enter the APN name
