Post-mortem outage analysis

Post-mortem analysis builds on the instant network fault mapping feature and long term outage storage capability to provide analysis and record on the outage.

For example, a post-mortem analysis reports that the past outage was due to a power outage, carrier loss on the WAN or a segment of the carrier network that become unreachable. An example analysis looks like below.

To view the post-mortem outage analysis, follow the steps below.

1. Login to the Bumblebee platform

2. Click Dashboards on the left navigation menu

3. Click WAN Link Health

4. Select one site in the drop down menu

5. Scroll to Outage History. For each outage down event, click View Analysis under Post-mortem Analysis column.
